An easy cocktail perfect for one or a group; pairs well with your favorite Mexican food or on its own!
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 mango, diced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1–2 fresh jalapeno slices (seeds removed for less spice)
- 1.5–2 oz. tequila
- 3–4 oz. mango juice
- On a small plate, combine kosher salt and chili powder until mixed. Rub half of a lime on the rim of your serving glass and dip into spice mix. Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, jar, or glass if you don’t have either, muddle together mango, lime juice, and jalapeno. Add 3-4 ice cubes, power tequila over them. Add mango juice and shake (or stir if you don’t have a lid). Add fresh ice to serving glass; strain drink over ice. Top with jalapeno or mango and garnish as desired.
Adjust tequila and juice ratio for the desired strength of alcohol.
