A holiday garnish that’s easy to make and will impress your guests!
- 1/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 ounces fresh cranberries
- Bring water and 1/4 cup sugar to a boil, stir until sugar is dissolved. Mix in cranberries and coat with simple syrup. Remove with a slotted spoon or mesh sieve and lay in a single layer on a cooling rack. Let dry for 30 minutes to an hour (they will remain sticky).
- In multiple batches, roll cranberries in remaining sugar to coat. Return to drying rack until ready to place in bowl or use immediately as a garnish.
