Make your own homemade blackberry simple syrup in less than 10 minutes with fresh or frozen blackberries and sugar. It’s so easy and adds a fruity, colorful addition to drinks, cocktails, tea, lemonade, and more!

- Blackberries (fresh or frozen)
- Lemon Juice (optional)
PRINT THE RECIPE
Place sugar, water, and cleaned blackberries in a saucepan.
Bring to a simmer for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally and gently pressing them, until berries have dissolved.
Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve.
Transfer to an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
