CARAMELIZED ONION AND ROASTED GARLIC DIP

This is the only caramelized onion and garlic dip you’ll need from here on out! Whether it’s game day, a party with friends, or just a good ol’ onion dip craving, this one is THE recipe with caramelized onion, shallot, and roasted garlic - it's irresistible!

INGREDIENTS

- Yellow Onion - Shallot - Garlic - Mayonnaise - Sour Cream - White Pepper - Salt - Balsamic Vinegar - Stock, wine, or water - Worcestershire Sauce

Get the most flavorful onion dip...

Prepare the dip in advance and let the flavors meld together in the fridge before serving.

Prepare the roasted garlic: cut the top off of a bulb, drizzle with olive oil, and wrap in foil. Bake for 25 minutes.

Thinly slice a yellow onion and shallot.

Heat olive oil in a skillet; add onion slices and balsamic vinegar.

Slowly caramelize the onions, stirring only occasionally, and deglaze the pan with stock or wine.

Transfer caramelized onions and roasted garlic to a bowl; finely chop with kitchen shears.

Combine mayo, sour cream, spices, Worcheshire sauce, onions, and garlic.

Chill, then serve with potato chips or pretzels. Enjoy!
