Stir together dumpling ingredients, then cut in butter and add cream. Set aside.

Sautee onion, celery, leek, and carrot in a large Dutch oven.

Add diced potatoes and saute for a several minutes.

Add flour and chopped herbs into the pan.

Stir until completely combined, and cook flour, continuing to stir.

Stir in vegetable stock and bring to a simmer.

Dollop drops of the dumpling dough around then pan, then cover and simmer.

After dumplings cook, stir in cream and frozen peas, along with fresh parsley.
