GARLIC HERB DINNER ROLLS
Homemade Garlic Herb Dinner Rolls are soft and fluffy. Brushed with garlic and fresh herb mixture hot out of the oven, they are completely irresistible!
These rolls are easier to make than you might think, but they do require rise time. Best served warm, plan ahead.
This is my second time baking these...they were a hit...fluffy and soft with a light flaky crust on top. -Dione
- Water - Sugar (for the yeast) - Active Dry Yeast - Butter - Milk - Egg - Salt - All-Purpose Flour - Garlic - Rosemary - Thyme
Proof the yeast with warm water and sugar for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Use a stand mixer with a bread hook, add in the milk and egg.
Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined, adding more flour as needed. It will be slightly sticky.
Transfer to a bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
Knead the dough for a few minutes, working quickly.
Weigh the dough, then divide into 8 equally sized pieces.
Pull the edges of the dough down, creating a seam at the bottom.
Place it seam side down and roll into a ball with a cusped hand overtop.
Place the rolls into a skillet, then cover and let rise for an hour or until doubled.
Bake until golden brown, then brush with garlic herb butter.
Enjoy warm with your favorite meal.
