APPLE CRISP WITHOUT OATS

This homemade apple crisp is just like Grandma made, with a rich, buttery no-oats topping that melts-in-your-mouth!

- apples that are great for        baking - water or apple cider/juice - cinnamon - flour - granulated sugar - salt - butter

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Peel and slice the apples.

Peel and thinly slice apples, placing them in the baking dish to save on dishes!

Toss apples with cider or water, sugar, and cinnamon.

In a mixing bowl, combine the dry topping ingredients: flour, sugar, and salt.

Cut the butter into the flour mixture until small crumbles form.

Pour the topping on the apple slices and pat down to cover.

Bake for about 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.

Serve warm with a big scoop of ice cream for yummiest results!

Can I double this recipe?
