EASY GRILLED ONIONS IN FOIL

Making the best grilled onions has never been easier! Wrap sliced Vidalia onions in a foil packet and grill until tender. Enjoy caramelized onions on top of burgers, cauliflower steaks, grilled vegetables, and so much more!

– Vidalia onion – onion and garlic powder – Unsalted butter – Salt & Pepper

Preheat to 450 and prepare your foil.

Thinly slice the onions. 

The thinner the onions are, the faster they will cook and the more caramelized they will get.

COOKING TIP

Dot the onions in the foil with butter and sprinkle on the seasonings. 

Leave space in the foil packet around the onions. In other words, don’t press down on the foil itself.

COOKING TIP

Want more caramelization? Set it on direct heat, otherwise cook it off to the side. 

Enjoy your onions on a burger, in a wrap, alongside veggies, on cauliflower steak or on top of a pizza!
