INSTANT POT STEAMED CARROTS

Make steamed carrots in the Instant Pot for a super easy side dish, perfect for busy weeknight dinners or elaborate family meals. They’re ready in 10 minutes

INGREDIENTS

- Baby Carrots (or whole        carrots cut into        pieces) - Water - Butter - Parsley* - Brown Sugar* - Thyme* *depending on which way you decide!

If using whole carrots, peel and slice them into approximately 2-inch equally-sized pieces.

Place water in an Instant Pot and place the steam rack on top.

Add carrots, keeping as many on the rack as possible

Cook the carrots on high pressure for 2 minutes, then quick release.

Toss with melted butter and parsley for a savory kick. Don't forget the salt!

For a sweet, Cracker Barrel copycat recipe, toss in melted butter, brown sugar, and fresh thyme.

Garnish with additional herbs as desired and enjoy!
