Vegetarian Stuffing

This traditional version of “stuffing” (or dressing) will satisfy all appetites! Vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will scarf down this savory herb-filled stuffing with its crispy bits and flavor throughout, it’s truly the BEST vegetarian stuffing.

INGREDIENTS

- Italian bread - unsalted butter - yellow onion - celery stalks - fine sea salt - ground black pepper - fresh thyme  - fresh sage - eggs - vegetable stock

Using stale bread is perfect for this recipe. If your bread is too fresh, you can throw it in the oven and dry it out quickly.

Saute the veggies in some butter and add the fresh herbs then add to the bread.

Let the mixture cool, then stir in the whisked eggs. Slowly add in the broth to assure you moisten the mixture but not let it get wet. 

Bake the stuffing  and keep it covered for the first half and then remove the cover so the top bits can get crispy.
