THE INGREDIENTS: shrimp, shallot, garlic, fettuccine, lemon, wine, and butter.
Saute shallot and garlic in butter and olive oil while the pasta cooks separately.
Cook the shrimp in the mixture until it's pink on one side.
Remove the half-cooked shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Finish the sauce with white wine and lemon juice, then add the shrimp back in along with al dente pasta.
Toss together until everything is coated with the sauce and the shrimp finishes cooking.
