Seriously so good!! Made homemade stir fry with chicken and cashews. My kids loved it as well. Omit the pepper flakes if you don’t like spicy. It was AMAZING!! -Jen
- Soy Sauce - Brown Sugar - Honey - Ginger - Garlic - Chili Garlic Paste (or red pepper flakes) - Sesame Oil - Rice Vinegar - Water - Corn Starch
Can I make this ahead of time?
Absolutely! Just store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
In a saucepan, whisk together all of the ingredients except for the corn starch.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
Remove a little bit of the sauce (or the water if you haven't added it) and add the corn starch.
Stir until combined, then add back into the sauce pan. Simmer for 4-5 minutes until thick.
Enjoy teriyaki sauce in stir fry, lettuce wraps, over chicken wings, and more!
