Homemade Spicy Teriyaki Sauce

Spice up your next meal with homemade Spicy Teriyaki Sauce. This easy and quick 10-minute recipe is made with chili garlic sauce for an added kick of flavor and spice. It’s excellent in stir fry, with chicken, fish, vegetarian wraps, or in a salad dressing!

Seriously so good!! Made homemade stir fry with chicken and cashews. My kids loved it as well. Omit the pepper flakes if you don’t like spicy. It was AMAZING!! -Jen

INGREDIENTS

- Soy Sauce - Brown Sugar - Honey - Ginger - Garlic - Chili Garlic Paste (or        red pepper flakes) - Sesame Oil - Rice Vinegar - Water - Corn Starch

Can I make this ahead of time?

Absolutely! Just store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.

In a saucepan, whisk together all of the ingredients except for the corn starch.

Bring to a simmer over medium heat for about 2 minutes until the sugar dissolves.

Remove a little bit of the sauce (or the water if you haven't added it) and add the corn starch.

Stir until combined, then add back into the sauce pan. Simmer for 4-5  minutes until thick.

Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge.
