VEGETARIAN (AND VEGAN!) CARROT DOGS

It’s true! You can make vegetarian (& vegan!) carrot hot dogs at your next summer BBQ for a flavorful, umami-loaded, smoky, savory plant-based hot dog! Load them up with your favorite toppings and dig in!

INGREDIENTS

- Whole Carrots - Soy Sauce - Rice Vinegar - Liquid Smoke - Garlic & Ginger - White Pepper - Onion Powder - Sesame Oil

Whisk together the marinade.

Pour the marinade over prepared carrots.

Cover, and let the carrots marinate for about 24 hours. Toss occassionally.

Place the carrots and marinade in a large pot. Boil until tender.

Grill on a grill pan, grill, or sear on a cast iron skillet.

Gather your buns, toppings, and sides.

Place in a bun and top with your favorite hot dog toppings!
