Make frozen green beans in the air fryer for a quick and easy veggie on busy weeknights! In just 10 minutes, you’ll take frozen vegetables straight from the freezer and turn them into a delicious crisp-tender, nutritious side dish!
Ingredients
10ouncesfrozen green beans, whole or cut, see notes
In the basket of the air fryer (or a separate mixing bowl) toss the frozen green beans with olive oil, salt, and pepper. If you want to add spices like garlic or onion powder, do so here, too. Spread in an even layer in the air fryer basket.
Set the air fryer to 375°F. Cook for 8-11 minutes if the green beans are whole, and 6-7 minutes if they are cut. Toss the beans halfway through. Time may vary depending on the model of air fryer you use.
Serve immediately with melted butter, a squeeze of lemon juice, or chopped nuts as desired. See the post for more serving suggestions, too!
Notes
Air Fryer: this recipe was tested with a 4-quart Ninja air fryer. The exact cook time may vary depending on the model of your air fryer.
Storage: store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 330°F until crisp and warm.
You can use a different size bag of frozen green beans, just be sure to not over crowd the pan or they will steam instead of crisp. If they're too piled, make two batches.
