This is a light, crisp pink sangria with a hint of sweetness. Strawberries and mint, along with fresh lemons, come together with rose wine to create the perfect summer cocktail.
In a large pitcher, combine strawberries, mint, sugar, and lemon juice. Muddle as desired to release some strawberry juice, but do so gently as to not smash them all.
2 ½ cups strawberries, ½ - ⅔ cup fresh mint leaves, 3 Tablespoons granulated sugar, 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
Pour in rosé and mix until sugar is dissolved.
2 bottles rose wine
Let the sangria sit for at least 30 minutes so the flavors develop, however, you can enjoy it right away. Let it sit for up to 2 hours before serving.
Club soda: stir it into the sangria pitcher immediately before serving, or add as much as desired to individual serving glasses.
½ cup club soda
To serve, pour into individual wine classes, scooping out some of the fruit into each glass. Garnish with a lemon slice or strawberry as desired. Cheerse!
Notes
If stored longer than 4 hours, the strawberries will lose their color and significantly soften.
