Autumn Spice Simple Syrup

Autumn Spice Simple Syrup isn't Pumpkin Spice...it's better. It's warm, rich, and full of flavor with fall spices of cinnamon, allspice, and coriander. It's perfectly paired with cocktails (especially Bourbon) or your favorite coffee drinks. Make it in 5 minutes and have it on hand to enjoy all the time!

Ingredients
 

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, or 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/8 teaspoon allspice

Instructions

  • Whisk together all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  • Bring to a simmer, and continue to simmer for 4-6 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
  • Let cool, then store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to use.

Notes

Storage: store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1-2 weeks.
