This is the BEST fruit dip around...it's luxuriously creamy mascarpone fruit dip - ready in just 5 minutes and made with just 4 ingredients- without any marshmallow fluff - and no special equipment required!
Remove the mascarpone from the fridge before preparing the remaining ingredients (leave it out for up to 10 minutes to soften).
In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream, vanilla bean paste, and extract if using. Whisk in powdered sugar (sifted, if needed), until combined.
Stir the mascarpone cheese into the liquid, slowly to start, until it's completely combined and smooth. Serve with your favorite fruit, and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 days.

Make it Whipped: beat the heavy cream in a cold bowl until soft peaks form. Add the vanilla (and almond if using) and powdered sugar until combined, then gently blend in the mascarpone until combined.
