Lemon Butter & Parsley Popcorn

Homemade popcorn seasoned with fresh lemon zest, butter, and chopped parsley. A perfect satisfying snack—ready in 10 minutes for movie night, game night, or a delicious snack!

INGREDIENTS

- Popcorn Kernels - Oil of Choice - Butter  - Lemon Zest - Parsley - Red Pepper Flakes (opt) - Salt & Pepper

Combine melted butter with lemon zest and red pepper flakes - if using.

Pour oil into a large heavy-bottomed stockpot or Dutch oven.

Add 3 popcorn kernels over high heat. Cover, and wait for them to pop.

Once the kernels have popped, it's a signal that the oil is hot enough and the popcorn will pop evenly.

Immediately add the popcorn kernels to the pan.

Immediately cover and remove from heat, swooshing back and forth for 20 seconds.

Return back to the heat, and allow the popcorn kernels to pop away!

Pour the popcorn into a large serving bowl.

Toss with the lemon butter mixture, and add salt, pepper, and chopped fresh parsley.
